WHEN READING THESE ENTRIES...

Please remember that this is a light hearted experiment where we asked authors to play around in these story worlds that we love so much. These FMF authors aren't trying to replicate the original author's voice or improve upon it in any way, they are just having fun revisiting these characters.

Of course comparisons to the original will be made, so anyone brave enough to put themselves out there despite that fact, deserves our respect. You are more than welcome to like or not like the entries you read, but as you can tell by the lack of entries we received for several of the fics, very few people had the balls to even try.

And with that, ENJOY these entries for Fanfic My Fanfic. And then vote in the poll.

UPDATE: Deadline Extended!

The deadline for submitting entries for Fanfic My Fanfic has been extended through March 3rd.


This means you have plenty of time to get in your pasttake, futuretake, missing moment, or alternate ending for one of the stories up for fanfic'ing:

Wide Awake, Tropic of Virgo, Paper Heart, 

Hide and Drink, and Scotch, Gin and the New Girl

We've heard that one thing holding people back from writing for this contest is concern about offending the authors. Just wanted to make sure it's clear that we have the full support of each author and a whole slew of judges and readers who are all excited to see what you can come up with. Announcing the Fanfic My Fanfic Contest!

We are thrilled to have the authors' permission to offer these fics for you to fanfic.

Write a missing moment, pasttake, futuretake or alternate ending for one of the following stories:

• Tropic of Virgo by in.a.blue.bathrobe

Some things to keep in mind.

• Can you bring something new and compelling to this fic?
• Has the author left you wondering what happened to the characters after her story ended?
• Could the original ending have easily went another way?
• Do you constantly find yourself wondering how the characters lived before the fic started?
• Would you love to write about what happened between chapters 14 and 15?
