Announcing Fanfic My Fanfic:

We are celebrating fanfic by asking you, the readers, to fanfic some of the most beloved stories in the Twific fandom. We have received the author's permission to offer the fics below for this contest.

Write a missing moment, pasttake, futuretake or alternate ending for one of the following stories:
Helpful Prompts:
  • Can you bring something new and compelling to this fic?
  • Has the author left you wondering what happened to the characters after her story ended?
  • Could the original ending have easily went another way?
  • Do you constantly find yourself wondering how the characters lived before the fic started?
  • Would you love to write about what happened between chapters 14 and 15?


Process:
  • All entries MUST be anonymous. If we find out your not being faithful we will reject the entry.
  • First you will need to decide which fic you want to write a fanfic of. Then you will decide if you want to write a missing moment, pasttake/futuretake or an alternate ending. 
  • You may submit multiple entries and enter for more than one fic if you choose.
  • Entries must have a minimum of 2,000 words and a maximum of 15,000 words (this does not include AN's and/or entry headers).
  • A maximum of three submissions per author is allowed.
  • Submissions can be a collaboration or a solo entry.
  • All submissions must be beta'd.
Dates:
  • Entries Accepted: from 1/19 to 3/3 at 11:59pm PST
  • Popular Voting: from 3/10 to 3/20 at 11:59pm EST
  • Winners announced: on 3/25
Submissions:
  • Entrants need to email all entries as either a word document or gdoc to fanficmyfanfic@gmail.com you may not post your stories to your own fanfiction account.
  • All entries must be submitted no later than March 3rd by 11:59 pm EST.

**A NOTE ABOUT ANONYMITY PROCESS**
  • This contest is anonymous, please only allow your beta to know which entry is yours.
  • Only the contest hosts will have access to the emailed entries. All judges will receive links to the anonymous link.
  • Feel free to pimp this contest far and wide, but please refrain from identifying which story is yours until the contest is over.
  • If you're obvious about your authorship, we reserve the right to remove your entry from the contest. (Please don't make us do this!)
